Firewall and Port Configuration
Netcontent's port configuration and network protocols are set up to support all common firewall requirements.
Network configuration can be simplified for some clients by selecting HTTP as the default communication protocol. To do this, IT must open ports for the local LAN or WAN communication protocol.
The default port configuration for Netcontent is as follows (it can be customized according to the organization's security requirements):
- Between IIS and .Net API Server: HTTP/HTTPS 2092
- Between IIS and Forms: HTTP/HTTPS 2097
- Between IIS Web and Workflow Designer: HTTP/HTTPS 2094
- Between IIS Web and Apache API: HTTP/HTTPS 2095
- The default network protocol is HTTP
- For production environments, the recommended protocol is HTTPS
