Post-Installation Configurations
Port and Firewall Configuration
The default network protocol is HTTP. To enable this, you need to open the ports for the local LAN or WAN communication protocol, although for production environments, the recommended protocol is HTTPS.
Netcontent is periodically updated with the latest fixes to ensure data security and maintain privacy.
Aspects to Consider:
- Supported network protocols include HTTPS, TLS1.2, and Net.TCP.
- Unattended process control services do not support HTTP/HTTPS.
- The certificate must be provided by the client. Non-secure network protocols (HTTP/Net.TCP) are also supported.
The default configuration is as follows:
- Netcontent Web Portal: The main access to the platform (port 80 or customized with IIS).
- Web API Server: The connection between the web portal and data access (HTTP/HTTPS 2092 or customized with IIS).
- Process Designer: The designer for capture, business, and rule processes (HTTP/HTTPS 2094 or customized with IIS).
- File Editing Service: (HTTP/HTTPS 2095 or customized in Apache Tomcat).
