Field Attributes


These are the qualities that fields possess to perform unique functions within the Netcontent platform. They can have four different characteristics, outlined below:


  1. Required


This function allows you to make a field mandatory or not. For example, when filling out the information of a File, if the user attempts to "Save and Activate," the action will not be completed if the required field is not filled in. The same applies during Capture.


  1. Key


Indicates if the field is unique in the system. This prevents having more than one File with the same invoice number (assuming the invoice number field is marked as "Key"). This functionality ensures unique Files and avoids duplicates for the selected field's value in the system.


  1. Index


Allows one or more fields to be selected for data export, such as in a CSV file.


  1. Filter


Allows the selection of fields that can be used for internal searches within the File, whether they are customized or generic.
